Q: Does it cost any more to have a custom designed log cabin than one from the brochure?

A: No, costs are calculated through a simple pricing matrix that takes into account the amount of timber used, the number & style of windows & doors and other factors such as internal walls, floors, insulation etc. Brochure buildings are costed in exactly the same way.

Q: Are delivery times affected?

A: No, deliveries are the same for custom buildings as they are for brochure buildings. Typical delivery times are around 6 weeks from order.

Q: Do I have to pay for this design service?

A: No, we offer this service because we love to ensure you get exactly what you want. However, the design remains copy-write of Broomhill as so other dealers will not be able to use it.

Q: What about planning permission?

A: We always recommend that you contact your local planning office just to clarify the regulations in your area.
